After more than two decades of uninterrupted service, one of our historic 280-ton fully hydraulic presses—installed in the early 2000s—has come to a permanent stop. It has been a tireless work companion, operating 24 hours a day and playing a fundamental role in Techpol’s daily production.
Its retirement marks not only a technological turning point, but also a deeply emotional moment for our team.
This replacement is part of an already ongoing process of energy transition and machinery renewal, with the upcoming introduction of a new 300-ton electric press. This technological upgrade will ensure significantly lower energy consumption, greater efficiency, and improved performance—aligned with the environmental sustainability standards we have been pursuing for years.
Still, this moment reminds us that every innovation comes with a story to say goodbye to. And this press, in particular, is a piece of Techpol’s history: a symbol of our unwavering commitment, growth, and evolution.
We continue to look forward, knowing that the future of manufacturing lies in efficiency, sustainability, and innovation—without ever forgetting the machines, the people, and the moments that brought us to where we are today.
