Management of Reports
We ensure the receipt, management, analysis, and handling of reports, including anonymous ones, in compliance with the provisions of Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and the related transposing law, Legislative Decree No. 24/2023.
Definition
The term “Whistleblower” refers to an individual who reports violations, irregularities, or unlawful acts committed to the detriment of the public and corporate interest to the competent bodies authorized to intervene.
Specifically, the violations that may be reported pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 24/2023, known as the “Whistleblowing Decree,” must concern behaviors, acts, or omissions that harm the public interest or the integrity of the company, of which the whistleblower has become aware in the work context, pursuant to Article 3, paragraph 2, letter b), namely:
- Unlawful conduct relevant under Legislative Decree No. 231 of June 8, 2001, or violations of the organizational and management models provided therein;
- Violations of EU law (e.g., transport safety; environmental protection; consumer protection; privacy and personal data protection; network and information system security; etc.).
In this context, reporting (so-called “Whistleblowing”) is an act of civic responsibility, through which the whistleblower contributes to the identification and prevention of risks and harmful situations.
