At Techpol, we believe that safety should not end when employees leave the company gates. The concept of a “safe working environment” extends beyond physical barriers, protective equipment, and operating procedures: it embraces the daily lives of the people who contribute to our success every day.
With this conviction, we have confirmed the “Critical Illness” (Malattie Gravi) health policy with Intesa Sanpaolo for 2026, active for all Techpol employees. This is not an accessory benefit or an image initiative, but a strategic corporate welfare choice that responds to a fundamental principle: the quality of work depends on the protection of our people.
This decision represents a concrete commitment to those who put their skills and experience at the service of the company daily. It is our way of saying that well-being is not an optional extra, but an integral part of the working relationship we want to build: a partnership where both parties invest in shared well-being.
Our “Critical Illness” policy is structured on three levels of intervention that cover the entire health journey, from prevention to support during the most difficult moments.
1. Accessible Prevention for All
Every employee is entitled to one completely free annual specialist visit at our affiliated facilities. This is not just a medical check-up, but a concrete commitment to people’s well-being: we want to make prevention truly accessible by eliminating the economic barriers that often hinder it. Early diagnosis is one of the most effective tools for reducing the impact of serious pathologies, increasing the chances of intervention and recovery.
2. Clarity in Important Decisions
Faced with a serious diagnosis, the Second Opinion service offers the possibility of submitting your case to a second specialized medical team. This is not only a clinical matter but also a psychological one: it provides the certainty of having explored all available options, of having received the best possible advice, and of being able to make informed decisions.
3. Financial Support
The policy also provides for financial indemnity in the event of seven particularly serious events: heart attack, stroke, cancer, severe organ failure, transplant, and coma. Beyond the health consequences, these situations often carry a heavy economic impact, such as periods of absence from work, expensive treatments, and family reorganization. This compensation offers a financial safety net that allows you to focus on healing without the added anguish of financial difficulties.
Why do we do this? Because before being colleagues, we are people.
The renewal of this policy is our concrete way of telling you that Techpol is by your side, ready to support you not only in work challenges but also, and above all, in protecting your most precious asset: your health and the serenity of your families.
