International Women’s Day is both a celebration and an opportunity to reflect on women’s rights today and for the future. It is a time to take stock of the political, social, and economic achievements of women and to define priorities for our actions moving forward.
The date of March 8th was not chosen by chance. On this day, we remember a tragic event that took place in 1908, involving the female workers of the “Cotton” textile factory in New York, who lost their lives in a devastating fire.
Techpol has always been committed to gender equality and non-discrimination. On this important day for women, we reaffirm our commitment to the path we have taken—respecting and safeguarding the rights and needs of our female employees, and women in general, in every aspect of their lives. In the workplace, we guarantee them full equality of rights with all their colleagues.
At Techpol, this commitment is translated into concrete actions aimed at eliminating any barriers that may limit women’s freedom, ensuring their full participation and leadership opportunities in the workplace, and thus promoting their empowerment at all levels of society.
On this occasion, on behalf of Techpol, I extend our warmest wishes to all of you for this important day of celebration—and reflection—dedicated to Women.
